Wednesday, May 13, 2026, 8 p.m. Amical steps into the den. We're one of four companies invited to pitch the dragons in the Season 15 premiere of Dans l'œil du dragon on ICI Radio-Canada Télé.
What is Dans l'œil du dragon?
For anyone new to the show: Dans l'œil du dragon is the Quebec adaptation of the iconic Dragons' Den. Five seasoned investors (the dragons) hear out entrepreneurs pitching for capital each week. A peek behind the curtain: each company pitches for about thirty minutes on set. Only ten or so make it to air, edited down to the essentials: the vision, the numbers, and the back-and-forth with the dragons.
Why Amical was on set
Amical is a voice companion powered by AI, designed to ease the loneliness of older adults, including those living with Alzheimer's. Not a gadget: a companion you can talk to, that remembers who you are, and that helps families and care teams stay close to the ones they love. More than 200 devices are already in homes and residences across Quebec. Being invited as one of the four companies in the episode, and carrying the cause of senior loneliness into prime time, wasn't an opportunity we were going to pass on.
