Connect the handset cable to the handset and to the phone.
At the back of the phone, plug the power cable into the left port, and the handset cable into the right port.
Slide the phone stand in from the left until it clicks into place.
Pick up the handset to talk with the AI companion.
If you do not hear the AI companion when you pick up, it is possible that the phone is not connected to the Internet.
Option 1: Plug in an Ethernet cable
The socket is located on the right at the top of the handset socket.
Option 2: Remove the plate and enter the Wi-Fi password manually
Using the screwdriver, unscrew the 4 pink screws located at the back of the phone.
Remove the panel to access the screen and the buttons.
If the screen is off, it means that the phone is not powered on.
Make sure it is plugged in.
The screen should be turned on and display a ☎ phone icon .
This means that the phone is properly connected to the Internet.
If the screen displays an icon ⚠️ with an exclamation point, it means that the phone is not connected to the Internet. Generally, this is because the Wi-Fi password is incorrect.
Here is how to manually enter the Wi-Fi.
Press the left button to access the menu.
Use the arrows to go to 2. Settings > 6. Wi-Fi Settings > 3. Wi-Fi Network
Find the name of your Wi-Fi network, then press the 📎 paperclip button to enter the password. Skip the question "Security type" by simply pressing the ✔️ button on the right.
Enter your Wi-Fi password by pressing the buttons 1 to 9 several times.
You can change the input mode (Mixed, UPPERCASE, lowercase, numbers) by pressing the Ab2 button several times.
To type special characters such as @ ? $ #, stay in Ab2 mode and press the 1 key multiple times.
Press the ✔️ button once the password is entered. The phone should connect.
If the screen displays the icon ☎, but you still cannot hear the AI companion, contact support@amical-ai.com.
