Amical selected by World Economic Forum - UpLink
Amical is one of the 10 companies selected in the “Shaping Canada's Longevity Advantage” challenge, announced on October 21 by Manulife and UpLink.

One of 10 companies
This year, Canada officially becomes a super-aged country. To get ready, UpLink, the World Economic Forum's open innovation platform, launched the “Shaping Canada's Longevity Advantage” challenge with Manulife and the Forum's Longevity Economy Initiative, to help Canadians live longer, better lives.
Amical is one of the 10 winners, and you can even spot us first in the official announcement video, with our own footage of the phone!
Seeing older adults living with cognitive decline get a place on a stage like this one means a lot to our whole team.
A year with the UpLink community
Being selected comes with a year of active engagement with the UpLink community, with events, visibility and introductions to partners, collaborators and investors around the world. For a Quebec City company, it's a great way to bring what we've learned in care homes to more people, in more places.
Thank you
A big thank you to Manulife, AGE-WELL, AgeTech Capital, CABHI and everyone at World Economic Forum - UpLink, especially André Almeida da Vila and Kate Michaels. Congrats to the 9 other companies!
